1. SEEKING 3D VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST—NYC
streng New York is looking for a seasoned 3D Modeler / Rendering Specialist with design education or similar experience. You’ll be expected to creatively direct 3D Visualizations from geometry developed by others, as well as create 3D geometry for both rendering and physical prototype production. An ability to produce High Quality 3D renderings will be required.
Specific skills include:
• Extensive experience with a NURBS modeler. Rhino and/or Alias is preferred. • Rendering experience, 3DS Max + Vray or Brazil r/s or Maxwell. • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. • Animation, Motion Graphics and video editing skills a plus. 2. SEEKING SENIOR INDUSTRIAL DESIGNERS—NYC & CHICAGO
streng Chicago is currently looking for talented senior industrial designers for our Chicago & NYC locations. You must be a self-motivated, independent thinker with a positive attitude and a discerning eye for aesthetics. You should have the ability to successfully lead the team through a design project from concept to completion—an A+ designer for an A+ firm.
Tasks Include:
• Leading and participating in team-based ideation sessions • Defining and initiating strategic vision & goals of a project • Maintaining project focus by working closely with the client and design team • Rendering / excellent sketching / prototyping in 2D & 3D • Managing balance of work schedule, team makeup and project demands • You will be expected to present and formulate compelling design reasoning that satisfies • This person will be a mentor, guide and contributor to fellow staff members and clients • You will contribute opinion and experience to business development goals

Requirements:
• Portfolio demonstrating successful, effective product design • Awareness of design trends & an open-minded attitude to question them • Ability to build solid relationships with clients / potential clients • You will be expected to illustrate strong verbal & written communication skills • Will regularly present to clients & small groups in a compelling, articulate way • Demonstrate Effective problem-solving skills and resourcefulness • 3D Modeling—you must create watertight geometry and flawless surfaces • 7+ years of industrial design experience at an established firm • Thorough knowledge of Creative Suite and Rendering Packages • Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Design

3. SEEKING INDUSTRIAL DESIGN INTERNS—NYC & CHICAGO
streng is currently looking for talented industrial design interns for our NYÇ & Chicago locations. As an intern who supports various aspects of the design process, you should be a self-motivated, independent thinker with a positive attitude and a discerning eye for aesthetics.
You should have the ability to take a design project from concept to completion. Tasks include: providing support to our design team; gathering and applying research data; sketching; prototyping in 2D & 3D; creating models; executing robust design solutions that satisfy client needs.
Knowledge of Creative Suite and strong communication skills are a must. At least 2 years of experience in an ID academic program is preferred.
